The department of OBG GMC Udhampur , comprising of 2 Assistant professors, 1 senior resident and 2 DNB students, is determined to provide 24×7 comprehensive emergency obstetric and newborn care, basic antenatal services, schemes under SUMAN, national family welfare program services, gynaecological preventive and curative services, active teaching and research curriculum. The faculty is rigorously working to do clinical and teaching activities at par with the best teaching tertiary hospitals.

  • 1. To work in the mission for reducing maternal mortality and perinatal mortality.
  • 2. To inculcate the virtue of a good clinician and academician among the DNB residents.
  • 3. To provide state of the art gynecological services.
  • 4. To work in the process of making National family welfare program a success.
